Abstract: Photocatalytic washing of cloth using TiO2 photocatalyst and sunlight is demonstrated. Photocatalyst is recovered after washing process. Technology can drastically reduce the water pollution (billions of liters per day) due to use of detergents and soaps in washing cloths – Globally; if developed further.
